About Us

ZSK Digital Designs is a freelance content creation business in Second Life that was founded by ZoraSlade Karu in July, 2012.

We're known for it's creation of WWII aircraft, such as the North American P-51D Mustang and Curtiss P-40E Kittyhawk, as well as compilation projects with other businesses, such as Astral Technologies.

Originally we were known as LightDash Designs (LDD), a business that focused on making video game based avatars and accessories. The business ran from mid 2007 till mid 2012, when the business changed the name to ZSK Digital Designs, based on the initials of ZoraSlade Karu, and focused on producing aircraft.

ZSK joined with Astral Tek (A-T), owned by Joe Sparrow, with a focused idea to create realistic behaving physics in vehicles that would be practical for a user to control and add an element of excitement. ZSK and A-T worked together on many projects from Warships to Aircraft. During which, the ZSK Flight Physics engine was developed using A-T's base flight engine, Laminar System's lift code, and ZSK's knowledge of aircraft behaviour. This was later installed into ZSK and A-T's first conjoint project, the P-51D Mustang, which was later released in August 27th, 2013.

After the Success of the Mustang, ZSK went it's own direction as a freelance company, but still aided in A-T projects. Other companies such as THI, Huskey Aviation, and Laminar systems, have formed a collaboration with ZSK, as part of a creators community.

ZSK has aided the construction of Wright Bros. Regional Airfield (SLWB) in Jadu, which was the location of ZSK Digital Designs' main Head Quarters.

ZSK has recently constructed it's head quarters a Archerfield Aerodrome in Spurness.
